Trajectory

Since 2022.

  1. 2022

    Founded

    Established under the SRM Qkrishi Centre of Excellence.

  2. 2023

    Quantathon 1.0

    The first edition: six tracks taking students from quantum fundamentals to real-world problems over two days.

  3. 2024

    Quantathon 2.0

    Run online with a prize pool backed by Polygon, ETHIndia, and Aptos. Teams of one to four, free to enter, judged on working submissions.

  4. 2025

    Quantathon 3.0

    Held in person at TP-1 Turing Hall across three tracks — quantum intelligence, communication and cryptography, and optimisation and error mitigation — against five problem statements set with industry partners. Teams submitted a deck, then a demo video, then defended the work in front of judges on the final day.
